La Familia de UCLA

La Familia works on and off of the UCLA campus to advocate for Latina/o lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people. We recognize the complexity of issues facing Latina/o LGBT people. La Familia commits itself to self-determination, self-respect, and dignity not simply to survival. Our goals include self respect and unabashed, unrestrained self-expression within Latino Communities, mainstream Queer Communitites and American Communities.

We have weekly meetings to discuss things that range from coming out to sexual health. We also put on various workshops and conferences, have retretats, end of the quarter banquets, and make long lasting friends with community.

Meetings are every Thursday at 7pm at the LGBT center.
